    My Cupshe Swim Style!

After an amazing week in Jamaica this winter and all of your messages and comments I wanted to make certain all of my social media gals were able to find the swim suits I wore from one of my favorite swimsuit company, Cupshe! Here are the three suits that I featured on my trip. When ordering I usually size up. I find that when suits are not mix and match sizes that I need to order one size up in order to have the top and bottom fit comfortably! Jamaica, the happiest place in the world.

Jamaica, a little piece of heaven nestled in the Caribbean Sea. Spanning 10,990 square kilometres (4,240 sq mi) in area, it is the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles and the fourth-largest island country in the Caribbean. Jamaica lies about (90 mi) south of Cuba (another destination I’d love to explore). While many people associate Jamaica with coconuts, rum, and lilting accents, the country has so much more to offer! With 2.9 million people, Jamaica is the third-most populous Anglophone country in the Americas (after the United States and Canada), and the fourth-most populous country in the Caribbean. In 1994, Jamaica was the first Caribbean country to launch a website…

    Dia de los Muertos

I have always been in awe of the beautiful and scary skulls that seem to be everywhere during the week of Halloween (Oct 31) and Dia de los Muertos (Nov 1 & 2). But did you know the history behind them? I didn’t! The most recognized skull on Dia de los Muertos is the Calavera Catrins. The image we are familiar with today and all over social media was originated by Jose Guadalupe Posada, a Mexican Artist who depicted a fancy female skeleton as a dig against the Europhile Mexican elite during the Porfirio Diaz dictatorship. The image became an icon of the Mexican Revolution at the beginning of the…

    My Pineapple PopSocket

Recently, I’ve had a bunch of friends and followers reach out to ask where I got my iPhone pop mount. It’s made by a company called PopSocket and it’s a “Collapsible. Grip. Mount.” I found my Pineapple print PopSocket at BestBuy. It was available in the store for $9.99 in addition to other prints to choose from. I honestly have no idea how I used my phone without it. It give me a much better grip and makes the iPhone 7plus so much easier to go. Especially if you are chasing little ones and trying to snap pictures on the go! Happy Shopping!

Day Trip–New England Charm. Napa Style.

A day trip in Rhode Island can lead to all kinds of adventures since the ocean and farm lands run alongside this beautiful area. This tiny state I call “home” is close to many amazing destinations that are reachable in less than two hours. Yesterday’s travels gave the phrase “Sunday drive” new meaning to me. First thing in the morning we jumped in the car and headed south with no set travel plans. It felt cool to be a beach day and we decided that heading into the country would be fun. I have a love for barns (antiques and new construction). I also am quite fond of farmscape gardens!…

Local Love for Merienda Tapas Bar & Restaurant

I always love trying new restaurants, especially when they are close to home for me. Warren Rhode Island in an up and coming area for fine dining with beautiful seaside views. Water street is lined with shops, bars, and restaurants that make you want to get out of your car and stroll around. This summer Water street has been under construction, but that hasn’t stopped the locals from visiting including myself. This past Saturday evening, after being told the wait at a neighboring restaurant was an hour for a party of three, I decided to suggest a new tapas bar I had passed on the way called “Merienda.”  Merienda Tapas Bar &…
